Glitch pictures
/
I was playing Gem Breaker, when I saw an error with the gems.
In case you don't know what the error is here, it is that some gems are on top of other gems. It was almost like two levels were on top of each other.
The next "glitch" is what I call the "Frozen in Time" glitch... It's not really a glitch though.
This is caused by having a bad internet connection. What happens here, is basically your AJ screen is frozen. It's kinda like you were disconnected from the Internet. When this happens, you will not be able to trade, visit dens, go to places on the map, switch rooms, or see what everyone else is saying. On your screen, everyone will just be standing there. No one is saying anything. Only you can walk or talk. But on everyone else's screen, they can see what you are saying.
Here is a picture of the time that I tried to get to Coral Canyons from Coral Passageway, but Coral Canyons was full...
I was able to walk on walls... Sort of. I could only walk on a little part of the walls. This glitch can be done by switching animals and then clicking the tunnel.
And once, when I opened the map, only half of the map was on the screen!
I couldn't move the map to where it should have been, so I couldn't go to the Temple of Zios or Crystal Sands.
Believe it or not, this next picture was taken before the trading system came out.
This next picture was sent in by my friend DoomDesire:
My friend was at her den at the time, but everyone from the Township appeared in her den, although they weren't really there. I was in the Township before, so I saw everyone in this picture, except for DoomDesire. It was odd...
These next glitch pictures are REALLY old! Back in like... Early February of 2011. I think I was the first Jammer to EVER to have this, very awesome glitch; The walk on walls glitch! This glitch can become VERY annoying, but VERY cool at the same time. It allows you to walk on walls, but with some side effects... For one thing, you can walk on walls, but ONLY the walls... You cannot walk on normal ground. Also, games do not work, unless you play them inside a room. And you cannot switch animals either, unless you are inside. There are many secrets to find with this glitch! I will explain what happens. First, when you log in, things should be normal. Sometimes, the animal/nature facts will not show up... When you switch rooms, you will be at the very top left corner of the room. In January 2012, there were glitches discovered to get on the walls without this glitch. Here are the pictures I took:
The first one is me on top of the Flag Shop (before it opened)
Me by the Mira statue
Here is me a Mt. Shiveer, on the side of a cliff. I said, exactly, "I am a ghost!", and Jumping Tinyrose was surprised.
Here is me when I went to my den. The glitch wears off when you go to an inside area, but comes back if you go outside. So, I was at my den after exploring this glitch for the first time, and I saw a Jammer on the tree trunk in my den... Why they were there, and how they got there, I do not know... Their username was "supercal"
Me on top of the Tower of Trivia. Notice that there is an elephant statue on top!
Here is me on the on the other side of the river before the Appondale was opened.
If you try to change animals with this glitch, here is what all of your animals look like.
All of them are named "Princess Orangemountain", which is the default name for all animals. :\
Speaking of Princess Mountains... Check out my buddy's name when I played a match of Four Gem with them.
My username is normal, but my buddy's username displayed as "Princess Yellowmountain".
At my den, my buddy was in the sky. This pictures was around when volcano dens came out.
My friend saw her up there too! It was weird...
This one isn't really a glitch, but here is my kitty swimming in the ground.
Next is the Heart Balloon glitch.
This glitch no longer works, but if you wore a heart balloon on a koala and walked, it would take the shape of a clover balloon.
Here is a picture of what I call the "Unloading Glitch"
What happened was, well, the bar for loading the Level filled up and then it started to unload from the left side. The globe then just kept on spinning, and I had to refresh the page, because it wouldn't load.
If you wore a Royal Cape on an elephant, it would turn into a heart cape.
This glitch no longer works.
Here is my friend toastygal when she was wearing her Reindeer Mask. If you sat down as a bunny with one of these, it would turn all weird. This glitch was also fixed.
I played Fruit Slinger with someone, and they quit right after we started. Something happened when they quit, and gave me some really weird glitch!
It started with single player mode, right after they quit. What is supposed to happen, is I get brought back to the Appondale.
So I clicked Start, and it started me in world 2 of the level selection screen. I went back to world 1 and picked a level...
At first, it started as a simple "floating phantom" glitch.
But that happens a lot.
Then I played the first level.
It sais my username was balto9, the fruit icons are on the wrong side, there is a flying fruit item, and there are TWO slingshots!
So I played another level to see if the multiplayer stuff would go away.
Well, everything is the same. So I wondered... What would happen if I played in a different world? And, this happened:
It still thinks I am playing level 1-1... The multiplayer stuff is still there... And... If I destroy blocks, red and green blocks replaced them! What the...?
If I shot fruit at the gap between the two lands, it would roll, is if it were ground.
Here is a better look at the red and green blocks.
Also notice how if I moved a phantom out of place, another one would appear in the background.
Here is another level.
I then tried the last level.
Some of the blocks were off the edge!
Here are more levels:
Oh, and if I clicked the X in the corner, my only option was to quit, rather than having the option to go back to the level select screen or restart the level!

Beta
Beta was the early testing mode of AJ. Beta was very different from how AJ is today.
These pictures are from VERY EARLY beta.
You can click these pictures to make them bigger!
The first picture is of the beta Jam Mart Clothing.
The room was called "Jammer Clothing" and the shop was just "Jam-Mart".
Items came in colors that don't exist today. These colors were later changed to the colors of today's AJ.
Jammer Clothing was flipped around and had a different appearance,
The next one is of the game Wind Rider:
There were large branches in the game, unlike how it is today. The number of how many gems you earned in the top corner looks a bit different. Also notice how the wolf is colored with beta-only colors.
This picture is of the game Gem Ball:
Not much changed with this game... The main difference is the X in the corner.
Next is a picture of the old Jamaa Township
It looks really different. Also, when animals used the "Sleep" action, their eyes would still be open. Also notice the bunny on the left's mask is mainly white and grey. That is a beta color of the Mask item.
Here is the entrance to the beta dens:
The beta dens were huge! They had 3 floors, and a bridge in the front. Notice that the furniture icon is different. This picture was before furniture was even out.
And the early version of Club Geoz
Just like Jam Mart Clothing, Club Geoz was flipped around. Some of the animals have beta colored Wings - They are black with white tips.
The beta version of the Temple of Zios:
Instead of the Zios stone pit, there was a monkey statue. Game icons were signs, not floating purple controllers.
And another picture of Zios:
Notice the koala has tan-ish Gazelle Horns. I forgot to mention that animals' nametags were different.
Crystal Sands
Crystal Sands looked like this since July 2011, and was then changed to a Crystal Sands with 3 water slides. There are a lot of beta colored animals in this picture. Also, leaf necklaces were brighter and only came in one color.
Sarepia Forest
Sarepia Forest was just called "Sarepia". Sarepia looked a bit different. There were different paths, and at the bottom were giant mushrooms.
The Chamber of Knowledge was the Chamber of Mysteries. It had a different setup, and only had 2 floors. Look at the wolf with the green top hat. Epic, right? :L
Unfortunately, those are all the pictures I have... for now.
